Bake Blue Fish with Barbara's Kitchen Smokey Jalapeno Tomato Chutney Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 Fresh Blue Fish Whole or 4 Fillets

  • 1 Lemon sliced thin, then cut in half

  • 1/2 tsp of garlic minced

  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

  • 1/2 tsp of dried thyme

  • 1/2 tsp of oregano

  • 4 to 6 pcs of fresh lemon grass


Directions

  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

  2. Be sure that fish is washed in cold water with a little lemon juice to cut the rawness of the fish.

  3. Place fish on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Seasoned fish with the herbs and spices.

  4. Place lemon slices inside the fish along with a few pieces of lemon grass. Place in oven.

  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, remove fish from oven and top with Barbara's Kitchen Jalapeno Tomato chutney.

  6. Place back in oven for about 5 to 10 minutes to heat the Chutney.

  7. Remove from oven. Serve immediately with rice, bake or mashed potatoes.
